Hello! My name is Radha Sharma and I am a fourth-year Honours Life Sciences student. After learning about the hands-on volunteering experiences that MEDLIFE offers both globally (Service Learning Trips) and locally, I was inspired! This organization communicates with local citizens in low-income countries to provide sustainable solutions and access to healthcare, education and community development. I have learned so much from the MEDLIFE movement and am excited to create change with our executive team. If you ever have any questions or want to get involved with our chapter, please contact me!

Hey there! My name is Pooja and I’m in my 4th year of Molecular Biology & Genetics. My past Service Learning Trip to Lima, Peru broadened my perspective, deepened my passion for helping those in need, and left me wanting to do more. MEDLIFE is an NGO that delivers what is truly needed by listening to the community and tackling the root of the problem. It’s an honor to work with such a passionate team to help spread the MEDLIFE movement both abroad and locally in Hamilton. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about MEDLIFE or if you're interested in getting involved!
Hi there! I am entering my third year of chemical and biomedical engineering, and I am looking forward to being the faculty officer again for the 2021-2022 year. Some of my hobbies include baking, exercising, and reading. Being a part of the MEDLIFE executive team was immensely fulfilling as it enabled me to make a difference in communities across the globe while being here in Hamilton. I am looking forward to hosting more events to get various faculties involved in MEDLIFE.
Hello everyone! My name is Rose Ajdar and I am in my third year of honours Life Sciences program. I have just discovered MEDLIFE and realized their passion for helping low-income communities. I was inspired by their mobile clinics and their unique way of addressing the shortage of medical clinics in low-income communities. I am pleased that I get to be a member of this incredible organization and have the opportunity to contribute to achieving its outstanding goals. As a creative design officer, I manage the organization’s website and create engaging social media posts to promote MEDLIFE’s events.
Hi everyone! My name is Zahra Ridha and I am a second year Honours Biochemistry student. I was interested in being part of MEDLIFE since I hope to work in the field of rural medicine in the future. I appreciate the unique approach MEDLIFE takes to uplifting communities through sustainable initiatives. In my role as Mobile Clinic Officer, I plan on promoting our exciting service learning trip happening close to the end of the school year! I hope to help anyone participating feel prepared and assured that they will have a safe and fun time on the trip.
Hey everyone! My name is Zinal Patel and I am entering my fourth and final year of the BDC program. I came across MEDLIFE as a second year looking to get more involved and was inspired by MEDLIFE’s service learning trips and their passion to help communities in need by working alongside them. So, I am back this year as the expansion officer. My absolute favorite thing about MEDLIFE is hearing stories from our MEDLIFE families and previous MEDLIFERS. As the expansion officer, I will be connecting our members to the local community through volunteering. So make sure you keep an eye out for our events and feel free to send me an email if you would like to get involved!
Hi! My name is Rachel Dombrower, and I’m a fourth-year student at McMaster University, completing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology. I strongly believe in equal opportunity, access to healthcare, and a healthy life for all. After learning that this is one of the many things MEDLIFE advocates for, it inspired me to join McMaster’s chapter. Now working with the executive team as their Recruitment Officer, I will continue recruiting more like-minded individuals also passionate about helping real communities in need by making a real difference through supporting MEDLIFE’s mission.
Hi! My name is Anjana and I am a first-year student in the Life Sciences Gateway program. I joined MEDLIFE four years ago and since then I have learned the importance of community, fundraising, and a sustainable approach to helping impoverished communities. This past year I was the president of the White Oaks Chapter and Expansion Officer on MEDLIFE Ontario. This year I will serve as Outreach Officer on the Exec Team, where I will continue to work with high schools and spread awareness for MEDLIFE in our school and community! I hope you decide to join MEDLIFE as well, and I am excited to see how our McMaster community will continue to help grow this incredible movement.
Hey everyone! My name is Luna and I am in my 3rd year of PNB. At MEDLIFE, I work with individuals who are strongly committed to helping impoverished communities achieve equal access to a safe home, education, and healthcare. MEDLIFE has enabled me to partake in something bigger and meaningful. I am thrilled to be working with a cohort of like-minded individuals and to accomplish MEDLIFE’s mission together! I’d be happy to talk with you all about school, MEDLIFE, and what we do specifically, so feel free to reach out anytime:)

For this school year, I have the honor to be McMaster MEDLIFE’s Fundraising + Sponsorship Officer. Hello! My name is Vivek Kannan and I am in my third year of HESE - iBioMed. After being a part of the recruitment subcommittee during second year, I realized how important it is for students to participate in the Service Learning Trips as they help many low-income communities gain access to medical care which can greatly help their wellbeing. MEDLIFE from a fundamental standpoint resonates with me as I believe the individuals who suffer from poverty deserve to have the same privilege of having medical care as those who are more fortunate. As the Administrative Officer for this year, my role is to facilitate communication within the team and manage the financial aspects.
